Works as advertised. Speaker is clear, and others seem to hear me fine. Easy to turn off/on. Clip works great, and it’s easy to move speakerphone when I flip my visor down. Excellent choice for the price.

2 Stars Defective Produce and Extra Cost to Fix
I’ve used another Supertooth Light for a couple of years and liked it, which is why I bought this one.

However, I was sent a defective product (the microphone didn’t work)… and had to pay to ship it back to get it replaced by BlueAnt!!

Based on this experience I will never buy another piece of electronics gear from Amazon.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase. Occasionally someone notices I’m on a speakerphone, and I do have one person that complains sometimes… but for the most part it just really works well.

5 Stars Better than a Land Line
As the previous review described, if your home phones (hard wired or cordless) have Caller ID, it will say XLink BT instead of the name and shows the number of the caller. Perhaps in a future software upgrade it will include the caller’s name.

Setup was easy. Hold the button down till it flashes, use your cell phone’s Bluetooth pairing function to find the XLink Gateway, then select it. My iPhone was the easiest. My wife’s Pantech Breeze, was a little more difficult to navigate the menus, but linked up once I figured out how to do it.

You can easily disconnect your land line service at the Network Interface (box) outside your house (if your phone company doesn’t) and just plug it into the wall.

You can then answer or make calls from either your cell or home phones. It defaults to calling out on line 1, but you can override this, if desired. We have a family plan, so it doesn’t matter.

This originally listed for $169, but due to competition, it is now under $100. Get one while they are in stock. It’s the best-kept secret in the Cellular world. Get the convenience of a land line, with the portability of wireless with a one-time investment. Highly recommended.

I was a little skeptical about this gadget but a guy at work had it and said it worked great! Also, most of the reviews raved about it. So, I decided to order it and give it a try as I was tired of paying for a cell phone AND a landline. Well, recieved it, paired it with my iPhone (about 30 seconds) and promptyl cancelled my landline! Just keep your cell phone close to the XLink and it will pick up all your phones in the house (you need to have a base phone with handsets assigned to that base). Some people find it hard to believe I am talking on a home phone via XLINK via cell phone!!

5 Stars Love the Xlink
My wife and I got rid of the VoIP service we had since everyone calls our cell phones anyway. But in the new house, there’s always quirky spots (my signal is good at my desk, but my new cell phone doesn’t realize I answered the call -wierd). And some people reading this may have dead zones. Enter the Xlink.

I read about the Panasonic KX-TH1212B in Consumer Reports and saw how they liked it, and I always like Panasonic products. But reading some of the reviews online here, I questioned if I may also experience issues. I then read about the Dock-n-Talk, or whatever it’s called, and a GE bluetooth link, but everyone kept swearing by the Xlink.

The Xlink worked right out of the box. I put the box at the cell phone chargers, where cell signal is perfect and issue free. I plugged it up to my Panasonic cordless phones (I call them networked – where you have one plugged into jack and others one their charger but not plugged in wall throughout the house), and there have been no issues.

When you have the cell phone past the 10ft range from box instructed, you will get some static. Easy solution – move the cell phone into range. I liked that I read you could plug up the box and firmware upgrade at no charge for future cell models.

On my cordless handsets, I have numbers programmed, and the handset speaks those names. If an unrecognized call comes in, then it shows up as ‘Xlink BT’, but I have no issue with that. I bought this fron ANTonline through Amazon, and have had nothing but good things to say.

4 Stars Serves the Purpose at a great price
This is a great alternative to the expensive Apple branded cradle.

This cradle is weighted nicely so that when you push buttons and navigate on the screen when its in the cradle you don’t feel like its going to get pushed over each time.

I also like that fact that it comes with a USB cable – so I don’t have to use the one from that came with the phone from Apple, that gives me one more cable for charging or syncing from a second computer if needed.

Would be nice if it had a separate headphone jack integrated into the based – but really for the price you can’t beat this cradle.

As for all the comments regarding the inability to use this cradle with a case on the Iphone, you’re pretty much going to have that issue with any Iphone cradle on the market.

The product works fine for what it’s designed for. It just isn’t as stylish as the iPhone.

1 Star Don’t plan on using a case……
The charger itself looks decent but I cannot fit my phone in with the case still on it. I tried cutting down the clear plastic support to make it fit but in the end I have to use it without the support. It feels flimsy now and I’m afraid that the connector on the phone will get damaged if it gets bumped while it is in the cradle. I would avoid this product and get something else that is designed well.

5 Stars Well Worth the Price
The main purpose I bought this cradle was to charge and synch my iphone with my computer. This cradle performs these tasks great. There have been other reviews that say you can’t use a case with the cradle. This is true due to the fact that there is a clear plastic support that fits tight to the iphone such that it can slip accurately into the charging prongs. I don’t see any way that a cradle could effectively do this and still allow for all the varieties of iphone cases on the market. The only complaint I would have is that it has a bright blue LED that stays on when plugged in. Even though the LED probably uses a small amount of power, it seems to be for no purpose and is quite brite.

All three of my screen protectors had some kind of foreign material in one area of the plastic. I tried it on two different iPhones and made certain to clean the screen first. Bought the overpriced screen protectors from the Apple store and didn’t have any of the same problems.

I read other reviews of this product and was a bit concerned due to a few neg. comments. When I received my purchase the product arrived in fine shape and works as expected. Buy several, they’re cheap and work fine.

The cover is okay, the only part i did not like was that the top opening and bottom opening leaves a lot of air bubbles, ive had another cover for the screen and it left NO air bubbles…..it kind of seems as if the openings are to big and and are closer to the edges, causing bubbles. But besides that i think it works, if your looking for the virtually invincible cover then this is not the product for you, but if your looking for protection, it does its job

3 Stars You get what you pay for (too cliche?)
I got this for my wife so she’d have something to use in her car to make driving while talking a little easier. After trying it for a couple of days we returned it because we were unhappy with the sound quality on the OTHER end.

THE GOOD:

1. It’s very small and light, and very comfortable. It fit both of us very nicely, and we both have freakishly small ears.

2. Pairing with the phone (iPhone) was easy, but I’m beginning to think that pairing is very seldom an issue with bluetooth headsets.

3. The sound quality (speaker on the headset) was good.

THE BAD:

1. The only really bad thing, and ultimately the reason we returned it, is that the person on the other end had difficulty understanding what you were saying. My wife (the one using the Samsung WEP 301) always sounded very distant, tinny, and staticy. I thought it may be because I was listening to her on my bluetooth device (plantronics discovery 925), but other people had the same complaint. I frequently was having to ask her to repeat herself. WE got tired of this, so we returned it and bought a Jabra 4010.

As far as comparison to a similarly priced headset, the Jabra 4010 is much better, in my opinion. While it doesn’t fit as deeply in the ear as the Samsung, the sound quality on both ends is great. When my wife is using it, I can’t tell a difference between her using the headset and her using the phone.

If you had to choose between the two devices, I’d go with the Jabra 4010 easily…even if it is more expensive (which we paid the same price for both of them).

5 Stars I am pleased with this Bluetooth headset
It is very easy to set up with your phone and comfortable on the ear. The silicone ear buds and Samsung OEM Clear Replacement Ear Hook for Samsung WEP301 Bluetooth Headset can all be purchased here in Amazon for a good deal if you do a bit of shopping around. I have seen that some complain that the ear hook breaks easily or quickly, I have found that if you use it kindly and carefully, it can and will last a good while as it has for my husband and myself. (We both have the same kind of headset. Sound is good and well worth the money spent!

4 Stars Great headset, great price
Great sound, the best price you can find on a blutooth headset. 4 stars because unless it fits nicely into your ear , the plastic piece that goes around your ear does not keep the headset on well. I love the sound quality and the price, but its a little annoying sometimes to push it back into your ear. Comes with cute stickers to customize the look (leapord print, solid black, etc) and also with different size silicon pieces to fit over teh ear “plug”. When I lost my last one, I came back to Amazon and re-purchased the same one. Its cheap enough to do that.

1 Star With an Achilles heal
The performance of the electronics was very good. The design and fragility of the loop holding it to your ear is abysmal. After talking with Samsung support, I learned they were aware of it and had redesigned (new material) the clip but would NOT stand by it. A penny piece of plastic (which should have been MUCH more robust or made of a near indestructible wire) rendered the product useless. THEN they had the audacity to want $3 to replace the broken piece… For that they not only lost any sale of an earpeice but also of a nice monitor I had my eye on or any other product they make.

It’s a nice bluetooth. It’s light and good for the price. The only thing is the piece that hold the bluetooth to your ear should be stronger because mine broke already. I still recommended.
