2 Stars Charger connector still a bad design
This is not about the seller, but about a design issue that Plantronics has yet to address through this model (665). I purchased the 665 after my Plantronics 520 stopped recharging (I had it for about 9 months). The issue for the 520 was that the snap connector used in the recharger design (like a snap button on a shirt) sometimes stayed connected and sometimes didn’t according to the recharging indicator light–just before I replaced this unit, it connected for only seconds before the recharging indicator light turned off. I bought the 665 because I thought Plantronics had replaced this connector with a mini-USB, but unfortunately that was only partly true. The recharging plastic module (like a little plastic sleeve) that I could plug the 665 into used a mini-USB connector which maintained a snug, good connection. However, the plastic module used the same faulty snap adapter on its bottom as my previous 520 headset for connecting to the recharging cord which plugged into the power source. As a result, I had the same problem that I had with the 520–it didn’t stay connected according to the recharging indicator light. This second time around, the 665 wouldn’t fully charge from the time I received it!! The light would indicate it was connected for a few seconds and then would disconnect even though the snap connector was firmly snapped together. In researching this problem, it seems that I am not alone in having this problem. there appeared to be no easy fix, so I returned it.

MESSAGE TO PLANTRONICS: Please give up on the snap type connector that you are using for recharging–IT IS SIMPLY AN EXTREMELY POOR DESIGN WHICH DOESN’T WORK WELL AT ALL!!!!

Other feedback: Very comfortable, fits ear well, and good sound quality in and out. I would have kept the unit and been pretty happy had I been able to get a charge into it! With a working recharger connector, I would have rated this a 4 with no difficulty.

Hopefully sometime in the near future, Plantronics will wise up and use a recharging adapter design that will maintain a secure connection. Until that happens, I will not be purchasing any more of their bluetooth headsets!

4 Stars easy to use while wearing glasses
It’s lightweight and has good sound quality. It does have shorter battery life than some other models but it comes with plenty of ways to recharge the unit on the go or in the office. It fits well into my ear and my sunglasses sit properly because I don’t use the optional earloop.

2 Stars An okay, but not good, earpiece
I’ve had this for about a year now and the things I liked about it I still like — it’s small and light, mainly. The things I disliked about it at first have grated on me, and they are many. The design is lousy, basically. The ear gel attaches by clipping quite loosely to the earpiece, and it’s supposed to also secure the over-ear hoop if you use it. This setup is extraordinarily flimsy, with the ear gel falling out and getting lost easily. That means the hoop falls off, too. So you have to handle the whole apparatus very gingerly.

Add to this the need to carry the pocket clip in order to charge the earpiece either in the car or from the wall, and that’s a lot of little bits to have to remember just to use your bluetooth headset. I found myself forgetting the pocket clip, which serves no other practical purpose, and so not being able to recharge the earpiece.

The talk time dwindles quickly from the advertised 3-4 hrs., which is already nothing great. The unit’s buttons are tiny and take a lot of pressure to operate — not convenient when you’re dealing with something stuck into your ear.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend given the large selection of much better units out there. This is probably one to avoid.

4 Stars Good for the buck
This has great and strong reception out to 12 ft, but when I put my phone in my pants pocket, I get static and a garbled reception. It could just be my phone or the reception of where I am a though. Really good headset though for the cheap price!

3 Stars ugh… its hanging there..
-honestly its an OK product.

-dont expect heavy duty resistance.

-after u mess around with the ear gels, they get loose and never get fit the same way… might even brake them

-ear gels get dirty after few months.. and hard to clean.

-Best thing about this is…. the nice car chargers…. that rocks.

5 Stars great product
Setup was a snap and it worked just as advertised, Looking to purchase a second

3 Stars Don’t Buy if You Own a Convertible!
OK product. Sometimes it is hard to hear certain callers, especially if they are on a iphone for some reason. The volume only goes as high as your cell phones volume level. I was not bothered by the flashing blue light like I thought I would be since I own a very small car. If you have a convertible-you can not hear while driving on the freeway!! Not that much better going fast on surface streets. No noise cancellation, remember! Though it charges quickly and is easy to sync.

4 Stars Good Hands-free solution, but can with a bad battery
This handsfree device works great….when it stays on. I had mine a week and now have to plug it into the cigarette lighter to use it. It is supposed to have a battery so you only have to charge it occasionally/weekly. My battery is always dead. Other than that, I have no complaints!

5 Stars Motorola T305 Bluetooth Speaker
Motorola T305 Bluetooth Portable Hands-Free Speaker (Black)

If you don’t want to drive around with something sticking our your ear looking like a Geek, the Morotola T305 is an excellent choice. It has noise cancelling circuitry and plenty of volume. Battery life is also excellent and in most cases, better than the cell phone you’ll be using with it.

4 Stars bluetooth car kit
this hands free speaker works well in the car & especially indoors. however, when out of service range, unit beeps annoying.
